But did you also know that Abraham Lincoln had a bit of a temper? It was righteous anger, though – he hated the underdog being abused and all injustices. For example, at Abraham Lincoln’s first presidential speech, when he witnessed the attack of a crowd supporter, Lincoln grabbed the assailant by his “neck and the seat of his trousers”, throwing him. Go Lincoln! Now that’s what we call a man!
