We all know someone who starts sneezing or itching as soon as they come into contact with dogs or cats, but did you know that animals can be allergic to people too?
Well, it’s true! Dogs, cats, and humans all shed microscopic cells from hair and fur, which make up something called dander. This is what our beloved pets are allergic to, and why some people have a reaction to certain animals. Dogs and cats suffering from allergies may experience skin problems, runny noses, and sneezing.
Aside from humans, dogs and cats can also be allergic to flea saliva, certain types of food and even other animals!
